MANY HAPPY RETURNS

What to wear on a hot summers day with nothing much to do but be lazy around the house? A white onesie.. what else!? At first I thought this was way too simply, and I tried to pair one of the small man's hats with this onesie, but that just made it all too fussy. I mean who wears a hat indoors anyway...

A CLEAN SLATE

A long cold winder has left me feeling uninspired, and not very creative. It's a struggle to get myself dressed these days, never mind getting the little guy to look good too. I'm missing warmer days, flip-flops and simple white onesies that go with everything... Today I tried to replicate those summer days with a white vest and pants, and Small Paul bib, which I don't think I have shown on this blog before. The bib was one of his daddy's buys - and a good one too. I'm really looking forward to summer, and shopping for it too!

BABY MONKEY

It's been so nice to have a few warmer day to re-explore some of the legless onesies in the cupboard. Today the white onesie comes out to play again with his money bib. My baby monkey is exploring finger food these days, so I know that the white onesie won't stay that way for too long...

RAINBOW BRITE

We have had a major washing pile-up at my house lately, so getting myself and my baby boy dressed in the mornings have been quite a challenge. At least there is the good old white onesie to depend on when you don't have much to be creative with. Just add matching bib and socks and he is dressed. I have looked high and low for cool bibs and I must just say that Pick n Pay always has some really fun ones at a very good price!

ROLL BUS ROLL

I recently went shopping for winter supplies for my little guy and found the most amazing selection of socks at Jet for next to nothing. These are the bus socks, but I also got a variety of other transport socks all in primary colors to brighten up any plain onesie.

HICKORY DICKORY DOCK

There is a mouse in the house today, and what a cute mouse he is. Naartjie always has the sweetest baby beanies that turns your little baby into a baby animal - that's double the cute in one go! They launched the online store today so go see if you can find some ears for your little one too.

BABY TWO SHOES

Today my little love is wearing his first ever pair of shoes. He seems to be quite taken by these super cool things on his feet. I would also be chuffed if I had a pair of these cuties!

TURTLE POWER!

Little man, you have turtles on your feet! At least they are Ninja Turtles so we should be safe from the baddies out there.

START WITH ONE WHITE ONESIE...

We all know the power of a plain white T-shirt. No cupboard should be without one. In baby-terms, a plain and simple, dirt cheap baby onesie is just the same. There are millions of ways to "accessorize" with bibs, socks and hats, and millions of posts on the subject ahead I guess.
