A HEAD FOR HATS

One good thing about the temperatures dropping is that we can add hats to the accessories drawer - beanies, caps, trucker hats, hats with ear-flaps, hats with ears - so many to play around with. Luckily the boy looks good in a hat! He gets that from his dad.

Oooh I love stripes...  but sadly head to toe stripes makes my little boy look like a jailbird. A cute jailbird though!

UTILITARIAN BOY

If I were a boy and not my age, I would wear dungarees every day and fill my many pockets with sweets and toys and my iPod and grubby worms and loose change and sun-block and keys and all the other important things I would need to have close by, just in case...

We are so lucky to have friends buying our little boy outfits while traveling overseas. Together with red, white and black Converse style socks the, this I heart New York onesie looks perfect for a day out on the town.

ROLL BUS ROLL

I recently went shopping for winter supplies for my little guy and found the most amazing selection of socks at Jet for next to nothing. These are the bus socks, but I also got a variety of other transport socks all in primary colors to brighten up any plain onesie.

GREEN THING

I was quite happy to have an overcast and rainy day today just so I can put the little guy in this outfit before he gets too big to wear it. This onesie is another awesome gift from a very good friend who is a big eco-warrior who is doing her part to make the world a better place one outfit at a time! The onesie is not only made of recycled materials, but also looks great on Mr. Blue-eyes here.

HICKORY DICKORY DOCK

There is a mouse in the house today, and what a cute mouse he is. Naartjie always has the sweetest baby beanies that turns your little baby into a baby animal - that's double the cute in one go! They launched the online store today so go see if you can find some ears for your little one too.

PJ'S POWER

There is nothing like a comfortable pair of pj's to keep you snug and warm all night long. The little guy loves this cute onesie with bunnies and squirrels so much that we had to buy a 2nd pair the other day. This is fast becoming a clothing rule for me - if you reeeeaaaaaally like it, buy two!

The white onesie strikes again, this time worn with this super cute tiger bib from Woollies. Roar!!!!!

BABY TWO SHOES

Today my little love is wearing his first ever pair of shoes. He seems to be quite taken by these super cool things on his feet. I would also be chuffed if I had a pair of these cuties!

MONDAY IS FUNDAY!

My little boy has turned into Slimer overnight which sent this mama looking everywhere for plastic-backed bibs that won't get drenched in drool within seconds. And man did I look everywhere... I eventually found this old fashioned set at Baby City. The design is so vintage looking that I'm actually wondering if this isn't the last set of plastic-backed bibs left over from the 70's. Best of all, they are really cheap and there is one to drool over for every day of the week. According to the bibs Tuesday is terrific, Wednesday is wonderful, and Sunday is super! Looks like were in for a great week.

TURTLE POWER!

Little man, you have turtles on your feet! At least they are Ninja Turtles so we should be safe from the baddies out there.
