CREEPY CRAWLIES

My husband hates these shoes, and my boy just loves them. I think that for my husband, they are just too close to being Crocs for his fashionable comfort, but the boy thinks they look like bugs and that makes them cool! These shoes might look like Crocs, but theydefinitely are not. In actual fact they are rip-offs found in Dullstroom's general dealers - Arbee's Supermarket. This place is a gem if you have some time, and don't mind dusty fingers after picking your way through they layers of stuff collected over the years. A few more finds from Arbee's will be shown as soon as it gets a little colder.  

KA-KA

The little guy is totally obsessed with cars, or Ka-Ka as he like to call them. My sister caught onto this and did us a huge favor by buying him a jersey with some Ka-Ka (not Poo-Poo) on the other day. No he not only looks flippin cute, but he has his own set of cars on his tummy to look and point and shout at when he catches a glimpse in the mirror. Thank you sis! 

DOUBLE TROUBLE

What could be more fun than to wear stripes with stripes. I think the rule here is to keep the colors similar to avoid that seeing double, hung-over feeling. The longs sleeve top is from Woollies, and the navy and white stripes cargo pants are from Jet - a present his great uncle gave his last year some time.

PRISON BREAK

I did a really bad thing... I bought these boy's leggings from Country Road, and it cost me a small fortune. I have been obsessed with finding legging for my boy for a long time now after seeing some super cute kiddies from the other side of the world looking cool in these. After spending way too much time in the malls searching for boys leggings, I finally found these and just had to have them at any cost! I'm happy though - no buyers' remorse here. They remind me of those prison undies people wore in movies like "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" - one of my best movies ever.

HAWAII NOT QUITE FIVE-0

I'm just itching to get the little guy into the stack of winter warmers I have been collecting, but in the meanwhile I'm very happy to have such great weather. Grandma came over with this new t-shirt picked up from the Woolworths sale for a steal, and the shorts are a pair that's finally fitting the little guy, brought here all the way from Hong-Kong. The Woolworths sale is amazing!!! Grandma also bought two great pairs of jeans which were marked down to only R34.00 each. Holy cow that's less than what you would pay for a good sandwich these days.

WINTER WARMERS

I have been keeping my eyes open for any cool winter finds for the little guy, and came home super happy, and with a bag full of goodies from Ackermans yesterday! I'm actually getting a little bit excited for winter... just a little.

MATCHY MATCHY

It's been a while I know, but this is the worst time of the season to be blogging about clothes. This is the time where we all have worn those outfits so many times it all feels a little boring. There is nothing new in the cupboards to inspire us, and we are just sitting around, waiting for the winter stuff to get in the shops so we can get some retail therapy! So here is a mix-and-match of some prevoiusly blogged about items. Maybe I will get a flash of creativity tomorrow morning...
