RUN DMCUTE!

Okay - not my headline, but it was written about my boy in this outfit that I made him wear, so kinda mine to use I guess... This awesome t-shirt was a gift from some equally awesome friends. xxx

BACK TO BASICS

We are in the last few weeks of winter, and I'm trying to get the most wear out of the little guy's winter wardrobe (There is very little the he still fits into these days). Today he is wearing basic grey skinny jeans with two white vests layered over each other, and a high impact grey and red striped bib from Pick n Pay. PnP really has the most interesting selection of bibs for a bargain. I bought a whole bunch of basic white vests - the best buys in his whole wardrobe. The go over, under and with everything else he wears.

A CLEAN SLATE

A long cold winder has left me feeling uninspired, and not very creative. It's a struggle to get myself dressed these days, never mind getting the little guy to look good too. I'm missing warmer days, flip-flops and simple white onesies that go with everything... Today I tried to replicate those summer days with a white vest and pants, and Small Paul bib, which I don't think I have shown on this blog before. The bib was one of his daddy's buys - and a good one too. I'm really looking forward to summer, and shopping for it too!

GRANDPA CHIC

A good old friend of mine used to pride himself on his sense of style which he named "grandpa chic". Today my little guy celebrates this fashion by wearing a striped cardigan and chino's - both in tones of brown. Little man - you look like an old man...

PREPPY

It's been a while - I know. I'm  not even going to list all the reasons for not posting in a while - let's rather focus on the positive things in life, like mini-preppy cardigans for little boys. The little guy received this one from his aunty abroad - lucky guy! And a little birdy (or granny) told me that there is a whole bunch of fashion goodness coming to his closet from his funky aunty soon - can't wait!

IN THE DISTANT FUTURE

Flannel robot pajamas must be the most awesome sleepwear a little boy can dream of wearing, while he dreams of the distant future where robots rule the earth.

CHECK-CHECK

When I saw this check button up shirt in Edgards last week I was more than willing to spend more than I usually like to spend on baby clothes. (The shirt came with a t-shirt so for the two items together that price wasn't really bad, but I'm very selective of prints on t-shirts, so this one will not be worn by my little guy - but some other little guy out there will probably love receiving it.) The shirt looks just like one that his daddy wears often. Come to think of it, we are actually a family of check-shirt fanatics with a few options in each of our closets.

M*A*S*H

It's getting to the end of winter, and I decided to dig deep in the cupboards to find some long lost items, when I re-discovered this little gem... friends of ours gave us a set of three neckerchiefs and the little guy hasn't sported the camo-print one yet. It looked awesome with one of his well worn white t-shirts and a pair of grey skinny jeans from Jet, which we have been waiting for him to grow into. Lately he's been such a squirmy work that I have to wait for him to sleep to get a good photo.
